Ever feel like you need more closet space? This installation will make you reconsider that. This commentary on clothing and consumption is impactful and smart. It struck me, and I don’t even have a massive wardrobe.
It goes further than just commenting on consumption, into war and politics. However I can’t impact those as directly as donation. Needless to say, I’ll be spending a few hours cleaning out and donating what I don’t need.
The two artists Alain Guerra and Neraldo de la Paz to work together under the name Guerra de la Paz . They come originally from Cuba and now living in Miami, Florida.
Her installations and sculptures are often a large part of stacked fabric. With their work they are criticizing, among other things, the politics, war and consumerism in contemporary society.
