Agencies create work every day clients and legal approves. At the end of the year we just want to send creative into the world without needing approval from 1 or 2 of those previously listed. We don’t have the time or budgets to make them amazing, but it’s the thought that counts over the holidays, right??

Lichtenstein’ed the Lichtenstein { Art Exhibit }

Lichtenstein  |  Chicago  |  Exhibit  |  Pop Art

His exhibit is here in Chicago! It’s one of the largest group of his works ever assembled. A full breath of his process, interests, and ambitions are on display. Including more than 160 drawings, paintings, and sculptures, Roy Lichtenstein: A Retrospective is perpetuating the creative cycle. Go, be inspired, create something.

Amp’ed up on inspiration mojo, I was looking back at the exhibit while waiting for the EL and saw an opportunity: So, I Lichtenstein’ed the Lichtenstein.

Kendra & Brian’s Knot

Wedding  |  Friends  |  Ohio  |  Second Shooter  |  Behind the Scenes

My long time friend, Kendra was getting married. Her next stop was visiting me in Chicago where she declared she making her own dress! A trip to Vogue Fabrics, a trip to Mood in NYC, and a few months later, she produced a gorgeous gown. The whole wedding’s tone was set by her dress: Vintage with all things handmade. The invites, reception and bridal party apparel included touches of her style.

With the calmness of a summer breeze, Kendra pulled it all together the day of the wedding.

I was not the official photographer by any means, but did snap a few shots as a bridesmaid. Her style was all over this wedding. Enjoy.
