Lichtenstein | Chicago | Exhibit | Pop Art
His exhibit is here in Chicago! It’s one of the largest group of his works ever assembled. A full breath of his process, interests, and ambitions are on display. Including more than 160 drawings, paintings, and sculptures, Roy Lichtenstein: A Retrospective is perpetuating the creative cycle. Go, be inspired, create something.
Amp’ed up on inspiration mojo, I was looking back at the exhibit while waiting for the EL and saw an opportunity: So, I Lichtenstein’ed the Lichtenstein.

Custom Built | 36 hour Renovation | Chalk Art
Landlocked with furniture, it was a giant jigsaw puzzle. I’ve wanted to do this for A WHILE, but hadn’t had time to take to pre-planning how I was going to ditch half my furntiure. Started last weekend donated, move out and hauled unwanted furniture to charities and family who said they wanted the goods.
Once the furniture was donated, moved and removed it cleared space for my recent furniture rehab project, and a few of my grandma’s vintage pieces I’ve been trying to find space for. It’s almost complete, only a few small things to add, some color to the edges and some fresh chalk drawings behind it.
