Q: When are my electronic devices going to be INTEGRATED into my hand (or arm)?
You’ve heard of the wrist phones and eyeborgs. I’m talking about having interactive pixels in front of you everywhere, fully integrated without need for extra hardware or devices. Research lead me to this video*. Looks like the technology is on the horizon! However for now hardware is still required.
This was first reported in 2010, I haven’t heard much since then. I still think it’s an idea that will emerge at some point but will be super refined and will need to sync with ‘the cloud’ or the multitude of devices we own. Essentially we could become our own AI. Creepy.
Why did this question pop into my head?
At least 5 times this week I’ve reached to make a call only to find my phone was not nearby. Naturally I put my hand to my ear miming the the call (much like a 5 year old would do before they *actually* had real mobile phones at that age. Oy, different topic.)
